Studio Franchi celebrates London Design Week 2023

As a leading manufacturer of Architectural Ironmongery, Studio Franchi are excited to showcase our new additions to the Elmes Artware Collection at London Design Week 2023. This year's event promises to be a celebration of new collections, defining design directions, and creative collaborations. With over 600 international brands participating in the event, Studio Franchi is proud to be a part of this world-class talent gathering and to launch 6 new products to join the collection.

Studio Franchi are proud to be showcasing our new products in the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour in collaboration with leading spacial designer, Kieran Tsang. The design has been conceptulalised to highlight the Elmes Artware's Japanese origins and features a focus on circular space, paying homage to "Kanmawari" (間廻り) a Japanese term that refers to the way that rooms in traditional Japanese architecture are arranged around a central space or courtyard.

This refers to the flow or circulation of people and objects within the space, derived from the Japanese words "kan" (間), meaning space, and "mawari" (廻り), meaning around or revolving. In the context of a Japanese-style product display, "Kanmawari" suggests a circular flow or arrangement of products around a central point or display.
