A Message from our CEO

Marco Franchi. CEO of Franchi plc

I am delighted to share with you some very exciting progress at Franchi PLC. Over the past few years, I had been in talks with my parents about taking over the business for some time. This eventually took place in 2021, enabling me to create significant change within the business, whilst maintaining the high levels of customer service and quality products our customers deserve. These changes along with others currently in the pipeline, will improve the business performance & enhance our customer experience, service & product offering.

New Studio at DCCH

Back in 1996 Franchi International pioneered the architectural ironmongery presence at the Design Centre at Chelsea Harbour. Following a long break, we have proudly returned with a new studio showroom, offering the best of British design and International solutions.

With a renewed vision, very different from our initial offering 25 years ago. We have been able to recruit some of the very best talents from the architectural ironmongery industry to bolster our already outstanding specification team.

New initiatives

To enable us to improve our business performance, bouncing back from various hurdles, we morphed our Gray's inn road colleagues into our Kentish Town and Holloway Road stores in March 2021.

To facilitate and showcase the introduction of our new security products, whilst enhancing the customer experience, the Holloway Road lower ground floor retail Zone has had a facelift

IT & Websites

In order to enhance our digital presence, improve our customer experience and overall performance, we implemented a new IT system across the whole business, which went live in July 2021 and has already demonstrated major improvements.

We have implemented a rapid expansion of our websites across the whole of the business, to improve our customer experience and showcase the quality products and services we offer. I invite you to take a look at thesis sites and see them develop over the coming months.

Recruitment

In addition to promoting from within where possible, we have made considerable personnel additions to the business, bringing in the very best in talented individuals who have all added considerable value across the business.

We continue to look for new recruits to bolster our business; if you know of anyone looking for a rewarding & challenging career, please share this with them and invite them to get in touch.

We are really excited for the future, our new image for the business and the vast benefits of our new changes across the business. We are constantly improving our business performance & customer experience and service, I would welcome any feedback and suggestions via ideas@franchi.co.uk

Kind Regards

Marco Franchi, CEO
