Why do I need a Fire Door Inspection?

Building owners are legally obligated to adhere to the requirements outlined in the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, which covers the building’s fire safety provisions. Regular inspections of fire doors are required to keep the standard of fire safety in buildings, as stated in BS8214 (c.13) and BS9999 (Annex L).

What included in the report?

Each fire door inspection produces a detailed report that sets out the compliance of your building. There is a full door by door breakdown detailing the compliance or failure of every door set and any remedial works required. We can also include a summary of all of the remedial work required for all of the doors.

All of our fire door surveyors are security vetted and fully trained to inspect and verify the compliance of fire doors. Each one goes through a vigorous training schedule to ensure that the surveys we carry and the subsequent reports we produce are of the highest standard and meet the necessary industry standards.
