We are embarking on an exciting stage of growth, with an ambitious strategy to cultivate, expand and support our existing and new clients with this we are looking for a qualified Contracts Team Leader to help drive and to work with the Contracts team to manage, support and develop new business and service developments. Managing the team, your work will be focussed on a range of existing contractual obligations ensuring targets are met, maintaining present/developing relationships, and developing contracts and initiatives. Physical Base  Orpington

Working Hours  The job is a full-time job with no limits to the uppermost working hours. Normal working hours will be 42.5

Job Purpose

  • Mange the Contracts team on all projects
  • Support new business and service developments
  • Focus on a range of existing contractual obligations
  • Ensure contract targets are met


  • Assist in the management of relevant contracts and development of services relating to contracts including….
  1. Developing and supporting business plans for relevant contracts
  2. Monitoring, collecting, and analysing performance information of final contracts and producing reports as necessary
  3. Monitoring of contract compliance
  • Provide responses to bids, proposals, and contract negotiations
  • Prepare requests for proposals for distribution to venders
  • Support and develop the implementation of effective performance and quality of the Contract team
  • Advise on and deliver relevant development needed for the successful implantation of contracts.
  • Supervise the contracts team to ensure all contracts are on target
  • Managing the warehouse function/shipments and introducing efficiencies
  • Coordinate with finance department to ensure correct billing and collection of invoices
  • Identify potential improvement to existing contracts policies and procedures
  • Provide holiday cover for other members of the contracts team

Relevant Experience

  • Specification contract and negotiation skills
  • Good technical skills, with building materials background

Relevant Education

  • Minimum GCSE/”O” Level Maths and English
  • GAI Diploma (preferred but not essential)
